Voter registration deadline for the General Election: October 24
Vote by mail / absentee ballot options
September 18: Deadline for Board of Elections to transmit ballots to eligible Military/Special Federal/UOCAVA voters.
October 24: Last day for Board of Elections to RECEIVE by mail or on-line portal application for ballot
November 2: Last day to apply IN PERSON for General Election ballot.
November 3: Last day to postmark General Election Ballot. Must be delivered by mail to the Board of Elections by November 10, 2026.
November 3: Last day to deliver your General Election ballot in-person to the Ulster County Board of Elections at 79 Hurley Ave, Suite 112, Kingston NY 12401 or to any Ulster County polling location.

Town of Rosendale residents vote at the Rosendale Community Center (1055 NY-32, Rosendale, NY 12472)
Town of Marbletown residents vote at the High Falls Fire House (333 Firehouse Rd, High Falls, NY 12440)

November 3 is also the last day to return your Absentee / Vote-by-Mail Ballot. You can either:
Drop off your ballot in-person to any Ulster County polling site or directly at the Ulster County Board of Elections at 79 Hurley Ave, Suite 112, Kingston NY 12401
Return it in the mail with the pre-paid postage provided - it must be postmarked no later than November 3 and must arrive by mail to the Board of Elections by November 10, 2026.
